A brief history of (nearly) everything about me

Nearly six years ago, I started taking a journalism class at my high school, because a girl I liked was also taking the class. At that time, I never realized my true infatuation would be with journalism.

Currently a Senior at the University of Oregon, I am pursuing a degree in
Journalism with an emphasis in News/Editorial. I have worked extensively in student and professional media projects, as Co-Editor-in-Chief of OR Magazine at the UO and in the same position for The Advocate newspaper at Mt. Hood Community College. I also worked as Production Manager for The Torch at Lane Community College. I am also an Associate Editor for Flux.

I have also worked as an intern for Ernst Designs (in Gresham, Ore.) and the
Young Writers Association in Lane County (as the designer of their 2nd
10-year anthology).

I have worked odd jobs as a Liveblog producer (for Eugene Daily News), a
page designer for Ethos Magaine (at the University of Oregon), and created
logos for various outlets, including Rundfunk, a DJ based out of England.
